Terms & Condition
Terms and Conditions (T&C) are a legally binding contract between a service provider and its users that outline the terms of their relationship. They are also known as Terms of Service (ToS), Terms of Use, or End User License Agreement (EULA).
T&Cs are important because they protect businesses in legal disputes and allow them to set rules for how users can interact with their products or services. They can include information such as:
- Prohibited activities
- How users can access the service
- How users can cancel or suspend their accounts
- How users can generate content
- How intellectual property rights are maintained
- How subscriptions and payments are handled
- Limitations on legal liability
- Disclaimers of warranties
T&Cs should be up-to-date, precise, and easy to understand. Users should be able to agree to the T&Cs in an unambiguous way, such as by clicking a checkbox.
